Diane's Info
As a member of the Moravian church here in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, I am the director of our Food Bank. We provide food to families living in our city and county that may not have enough to feed thier families. We are used in addition to food stamps and other programs that they may be part of, thus supplying them with about 3 days worth of food. Most of the food we give is in cans or boxes, we currently do not have the facility for fresh or frozen. Most of our contributions come from our congregation, both financial and food. We are also partnered with America's Second Harvest Food bank, they are our main supplier of food items. We help approximately 40 families a month. They range from single people, families to the elderly.
I enjoy helping people and I do this through the food bank, mentoring business people as well as providing vitamins and supplements to my customers. |
